Measurements: Metric vs. U.S.

I am confused on the measurements of your dried herbs. If something is 50g/$9, is that almost 2 ounces for $9? How much is a gram?

Outside of the United States the world uses the metric system for measures. Here is a rough conversion table:
1 ounce = 30 grams
2 ounces = 60 grams
4 ounces = 125 grams
8 ounces = 250 grams
1 pound = 500 grams
2 pounds = 1000 grams = 1 kilogram
